The two of us:
We walk into a haunted house,
and we paint our faded love on its aging wall.
We use a dark red paint
and we splash it, anger pouring out.
We mainly highlight the bad and the ugly, as usual.
We leave out all the good memories
since we now see them as nothing but worthless antiques,
buried deep inside our melancholic heart.
And when we finally walk out
of that haunted house,
in oppposite directions,
we set it on fire,
permanently destroying whatever is left of us.

I wonder if he has released any album; I really like the way he played this piece:
haunting. chilling. I love it!
Thank you Mercedes!
Bursts with images of anger and sadness. Finishes with a real wallop.
Thank you Joseph!

i can hear the woosh of the flames over your footfalls…we def get hung up on the bad and let it far over shadow the good…
Thank you Brian!
Wow! Strong piece, Elyas. Really chews it up and spits it out. Very emotional.
Thank you, Charles!
Gee, lots of anger. I see red all through this piece. Violent, strong emotions.
“…and we splash it, anger pouring out.

Very strong, powerful poem. Feelings are transferred to the reader….
It all adds up to a good piece!
Thank you Judy!
It’s great to see you around!
What a visualistic poem… The whole time I was reading it, this song was playing in my head..
Thank you, Veeh!
What a song
… I wonder why that song came to your mind.
Is there a love button here?
Let’s add one!
But love is already in the air! So you can just grab and click on it!
This really really cool. I love it that it’s a dream, yet comes across so realistically. The fact thay tou call up such deep emotions like passiion and anger, yet leave the cause unspoken makes it quite effective in its narrative, leaving me with a sense of mystery. The nding is fabulous.
Thank you Chazinator!
